The first mushroom festival in Prespa is scheduled to take place on October 3 and 4, 2026.
The Municipality of Prespa, in collaboration with the Society for the Protection of Prespa and the Greek Mushroom Society, is organizing a two-day festival that will include excursions to Prespa National Park, talks, traditional music and dancing, and of course mushroom-based dishes prepared by volunteers.
More information and details about the festival will be announced toward the end of summer!
This initiative is being implemented as part of the project “The Natural Values of Prespa: Driving Forces for Sustainable Local Development” and is supported by the Green Fund.
